I have to disagree with the author

and go with the guy under me, this isn't Heavy Metal but i'm not doing any "stupid catergorising". It's why we have GENRES, so people can go to what kind of music they are about to listen to. And just because you are actually making the music doesn't mean you know more than anyone who doesn't. I could go make crap music but that won't mean i know more than someone who doesn't (not that this was crap, it's just not heavy metal)

The "stupid categorizing" was meant in general not as an insult for the reviewer. There are a lot of people around here trying to lecture someone even the fact that they don't know anything of what they are talking about. Also meant in general, not for the reviewer.

The problem with NG genres is that there is only the big "HEAVY METAL" genre and god alone knows how much sub-categories for metal there are. I still prefer "vegetarian progressive grindcore" to he honest. lmao.

Machine Head, Soulfly, Static-X, Morbid Angel and Killswitch Engage are "Metal" bands as well but they still do calm pieces from time to time. People as well think, fuck yeah, I'm gonna listen to bad ass album right now and ladida, a very calm song pops up in the middle or the end of the album. What now? Is it not Metal anymore when the rest is ultra heavy?

Or just look at SlipKnoT. Heavy in the early days, mainstrem nowadays. They do calm pieces as well. It's still metal.

Also, if you check my other stuff you'll notice that I mostly do metal. It's not that I haven't thought about the genre when I uploaded it. ;)

Anyways, glad you liked it even if it's not in the right genre. ;D
